How to Study English
Use this page to guide your daily English practice: reading, listening, speaking, and writing.
1. Set Clear Goals
- Daily time: Study English at least 20–30 minutes every day.
- Skills: Decide what you want to improve: speaking, listening, reading, or writing.
- Targets: For example, “Learn 10 new words today” or “Watch 1 video in English”.
2. Improve Your Vocabulary
- Keep a small notebook or digital note to write new words and example sentences.
- Review words many times during the week.
- Use new words in your own sentences to remember them better.
3. Practice Listening
- Listen to short English videos, songs, or podcasts every day.
- Choose material that is not too difficult so you can understand the main ideas.
- Listen more than once and try to catch new words and expressions.
4. Practice Speaking
- Read texts out loud to practice pronunciation and intonation.
- Repeat (shadow) native speakers from videos or audio clips.
- Find a language partner or talk to yourself in English about your day.
5. Practice Reading
- Read short articles, graded readers, or news for learners.
- Underline useful phrases, not only single words.
- Try to guess the meaning from context before using a dictionary.
6. Practice Writing
- Write a short daily journal about your day in English.
- Copy good sentences from books or articles and change some words.
- Ask a teacher or friend to correct your writing when possible.
7. General Study Tips
- Study regularly, even for a short time, instead of only one long day.
- Do not be afraid of making mistakes; use them to learn.
- Use English in real situations connected to your interests and hobbies.
